Shirley and Sally along with C.J. Garrison, arrive at the old Spectra building after CJ's agreement with Bill Spencer to knock it down. Sally falls in love with the building and wonders about her family's memories. Sally decides to make CJ an offer he can't refuse and sell the building to her. CJ doubts her abilities given her little experience but Sally remains adamant. CJ gives her six months to revive the company and Sally demands more time, but accepts his offer, once CJ remains adamant. Sally appoints Shirley to be her assistant. Sally and Shirley hire Saul Feinberg II, the grandson of Spectra's former textiles manager, to be their tailor. After a series of failed interviews, Sally hires Darlita as a receptionist, for her loyalty and for saving Sally from a falling manequin.
